happy giveaway day!

I hope you’re all enjoying the fun giveaways happening all over the blogosphere today! If you’ve not already done so, be sure to head over to Sew Mama Sew to check out all the fantastic crafting blogs and giveaways taking place. They’re wonderful!

And now, for my own giveaway… Living in Edinburgh has really renewed my love and passion for traveling to new places. As such, I thought I’d pass along that same spirit of adventure by giving away a travel clutch and luggage tag. I hope you enjoy it! To enter into the giveaway, simply post a comment sharing where you would like to travel to if you could go anywhere you liked and money was of no concern. Top spot on my current destination wish list? Morocco! Also, please be sure to leave some way for me to contact you so I can get ahold of you if you win! Then, on December 17th I’ll randomly select a winner and announce it here on the blog. Happy blog surfing everyone!

  1. No way! Morocco is definitely in my top 3 (which oscillate in position almost daily.) The other two would be Vienna and Greece. Followed closely by Isreal and Central America.

  2. I have many choices that I would love to travel to, but my top of my list is the Amazon, mainly Peru– walk the Inca trail and see Machu Picchu. I just love ancient culture…. Greece and Scotland are tied for 2nd 🙂

  3. oh this is lovely!!!
destination: hmm i’ve always wanted to do europe.. probably greece because i loved learning all their myths and history at school, although sadly so much of their treasures are scattered throughout museums all over the world.. what a pity, i’ll have to go many places to see it all 🙂 france.. the Uk, not so dissappointing really 🙂
incase I win 🙂 my email is ekswhyzed_@hotmail.com

  4. Hmmmmm…..where would I go? I think if I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Africa and adopt 1000 children who are dying and hungry {exageration….but seriously, I would do that….might not adopt 1000 kids}. 🙂

  5. I would love to get back to Lebanon. I had to leave suddenly during the war in 2007 and I did not get a chance to say good-bye to so many dear friends. It would mean the world to be able to be connected again with some of those friends who are still there.

  6. Oooo fun!! I’m honored that I have had the chance to travel to several places in my life and even live in 2 countries outside of the US. With that said, I would love to travel around visiting all the many, amazing friends that I have met along the way and family that live elsewhere: Kansas, Idaho, DC, Wisconsin, Missouri, Vancouver, Saskatchewan, Edinburgh, Oxford and more! And maybe a little trip to Hawaii or Spain to soak up the sun and introduce E to the sandy beaches!

  7. I would LOVE to go to Edinburgh to see two of my very favorite people. 🙂 I also love your give away – I’ve already told you how great your passport holder is…. but the idea of the luggage tag is brilliant! What a great way to identify your luggage!!!

  8. Thanks for the giveaway!

If I could go anywhere, money no object, I would go to Italy. It kills me that my husband has been all over the world, and I’ve only been to most of the 50 United States!

  9. This is so lovely. Gosh if money was no option — i’m not sure there is anywhere I wouldn’t go. I’d love to take my son everywhere! 🙂 I think he would really love to go to England, Ireland and Scottland. And go see the old castles. I’m from England so it would be nice to go back for a visit!

  10. If money was not an option, I would go everywhere!! Well, my number one destination is Berlin, Germany, and I might be there in May, so my dreams are already coming true =P 🙂 I would really be able to use the luggage tag and passport holder!

  11. If money were of no concern, I’d go to Crete! I was sooo close when we lived in Germany, but we were merely poor college students. Maybe someday…

Thanks for the generous giveaway, happy holidays!

  12. I’ve always wanted to go to Morocco too 🙂 But I think, now that I have too adorable little kids, that Disneyland (or that new Harry Potter theme park) would be the very best place!

  13. Hmmm… two places come to mind: the UK (Edinburgh included, of course!) and Spain. Such lovely creations from a lovely lady… Much love!

  14. anywhere, everywhere…NOW please:)
these are simply lovely! my husband’s family is from the island of Barra and we would love to take our girls there someday!
i’m having trouble getting this comment to post…if it shows up 100 times, I’m so sorry!

  15. If money was no concern I’d take a little tour around the US visiting friends and family that live way too far for me to visit. Not very sexy but it would mean a lot to me.

I would probably end up having to give it to my daughter, who is headed to Panama for the first time early next year…

Thank you so very, very much for your particpation and your giveaway–abosolutely beautiful!

  53. Where would I go? Anywhere but here! don’t get me wrong, I love NZ, but people do tend to look at me funny when I tell them I’ve never had a passport or been out of the country. 58. My top place to travel would be to the west coast of Ireland. I was there a couple months ago, and I want to go back – it’s so beautiful there. Or to China, to visit one of my friends who lives there now – haven’t seen her in a couple years, so that would be really nice.

  60. Hi K, I’d either go back home to NZ, or revisit Turkey, or go with Rikk on his trip to Israel! All much better than being here in rainy Vancouver. Love those tags. And thanks for introducing me to Sew Mama Sew with your advent calendar. Bron

  61. I would go to Louisiana. Doesn’t seem real exciting but I have a great friend who I have known online for over five years now that lives there and I was hoping to visit this winter… but my sister decided to get married in March so I will be going to Florida instead. 🙂

  62. Morrocco is #1 on my list, too! I’m also super interested in Ecuador, Belize, Turkey and Vietnam. Yeah, I want to go everywhere.

  65. Wow! I just got back from Scotland. My husband is Scottish and we go back to visit the grandparents, and the aunties and cousins. He grew up near Falkirk, but his sister lives in Edinburgh and that’s where we stayed. I looked and looked and looked for fabric stores, but found none. Ok, well I looked a little….

So we go back periodically, but I’d really love to take the entire family to Australia, which seems SO FAR AWAY to me.
    Cheers,
    Dionne

  66. Well, all things considered it might sound like sucking up, but I’ve always wanted to visit Scotland. My sister had the chance to visit a number of years ago and it just sounded fabulous. Spain would probably be a close second.

Thank you for the giveaway and for sharing with us. 🙂

  67. Oh, this is a hard question! There are so many places …
I have always wanted to go to Iceland since I was a kid. Also Australia, the Grand Canyon, New Zealand, Sweden are high on my list. But I guess if I could go right now with the whole of the family I would probably choose Scotland. Well, not RIGHT now. Bit too cold at the moment. But maybe spring … or autumn. I have only been there in autumn (twice). Loved it every time!

    Thanks for this great giveaway!

Hopefully someday they can accompany me on our “when we can afford to travel for a few months” journey some day 🙂 We want to head to Europe first, do Scotland, Ireland & England (my heritage), Holland (hubby’s heritage), Austria, Spain, France, Italy & Greece, then off to Australia and NZ, then back to some tropical island somewhere for some sun and relaxing. 🙂 (a girl can dream, right?) Thanks so much for this opporunity to day dream and enter your giveaway 😉

  78. What a great giveaway. My dream trip would be a cruise to Antartica! I’ve heard it is an amazing once-in-a-lifetime trip. Too bad it is so expensive.

  84. What a thoughtful giveaway! I’d love to travel to Italy if I got a bagful of money….hope my husband and I can save enough to go there later in life….Love your choice of gifts thanks.

  85. I love to travel and would love to return to England to see all of my jolly friends there living on various Air Force Bases. I love these items because I am in love with damask, and black and white. Those two things are actually the theme of my upcoming wedding to my love on February 5, 2011. I would love to use these for our honeymoon to Greece! Thanks for such a lovely giveaway!

    cthompson4 at liberty dot edu

Thanks for the chance to enter!
